As the first quarter of 2024 concludes, Sensor Tower provides an overview of the performance of the top Film & Television iOS applications in France. The data offers insights into downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Disney+ saw its revenue fluctuating, starting at around $477K in the first week of January and peaking at approximately $481K in mid-February before settling at about $390K in the last week of March. Downloads for Disney+ began at roughly 38K and showed a downward trend, concluding the quarter with nearly 27K downloads. Weekly active users experienced a dip from 1.26M to around 1.09M over the quarter.
Amazon Prime Video experienced a similar wavering pattern in revenue, peaking at $186K in early March. Downloads reached their highest at about 56K in mid-February, while weekly active users peaked at 735K in the same period, later declining to approximately 591K by the end of March.
For Crunchyroll, revenue peaked at nearly $147K in mid-January and then saw a slight decline to around $122K by the end of March. Downloads started at about 15K and showed a gradual decrease to roughly 8K. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll's active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter with around 236K.
Netflix showed a revenue trend that began at approximately $128K and witnessed ups and downs, eventually reaching around $102K. Downloads for Netflix saw a decrease from 49K in the first week to about 31K in the last week of March, with weekly active users starting at 3.96M and dipping to 3.29M.
Lastly, Molotov - TV en direct, replay had its revenue starting at roughly $71K and reaching a peak of nearly $89K in early March. Downloads showed an initial spike at 11K in mid-January and then a decline to 7K by the end of March. Active users for Molotov remained consistent, with a slight decrease from 123K to 114K.
